A huge thank you to Kirsty and her team for helping to put together one of the most magical days of our lives – words simply cannot describe how happy we were with all of your work not only on our big day but in the lead up to the event. Not only did you do a fantastic job in organising our suppliers, setting up the timeline for the day and putting up with all of our questions and concerns in the lead up to the wedding but we were blown away by the stunning set up for the reception, it was everything that we could have wished for and more.
We booked Opulence Event Management for our wedding in June 2016. Kirsty was absolutely amazing – we would have been lost without her! From planning to the day, everything went seamlessly. Kirsty listens and she will go above and beyond to help her client and bring their vision to life. Not only that, she is also highly practical – we saved a huge amount of $$$ listening to her advice and spending money where it would matter more. She also has a large number of industry contacts so can often get things done a lot faster than I would have been able to. I was blown away when I walked into the ceremony and reception – it was beyond anything that I had envisioned – picture perfect! And the fact I didn’t have to lift a finger? Priceless. Kirsty was the top of our thank yous during the wedding speech and we would HIGHLY recommend Opulence Events to anyone. You will not regret it!
My new husband and I just wanted to say a giant THANK YOU – which hardly seems enough – for helping us realise our vision for our special day. You were our cheerleader through the tricky parts and helped relieve so much of the pressure that came with our high expectations and exacting details of so many very specific ideas. Coming from creative and technical backgrounds, we anticipated that our imaginations might get the better of us, but you were never phased and in fact excited to take on the challenges, finding solutions at every step of the way – you’re any bride and groom’s wedding planning dream! The service was incredibly personalised, there is absolutely no way we could have achieved an entire decadent weekend away for our 80 guests on our own, including a pre-emptive dinner party and wedding reception with so many exquisite details to trip up on… Unexpected events were handled with such grace and control and everything ran so smoothly, we were never anything other than relaxed and able to focus on enjoying our special day. Our Maid of Honour was particularly impressed, as the Marketing Manager of a large international brand in Melbourne, she had never seen such efficiency and delivery from a small scale boutique business that rivals the elite event planners in the country, she was floored to discover that our weekend wasn’t being run by a team of 10 or more – you and your assistants are MAGIC!

Thank you to yourself, Desh, and Kirst for the flawless service you both provided up until, and on the day. Any DIY bride would know it’s just not possible to do everything herself (as much as she thinks she’s Wonderwoman), and that’s where Opulence Events comes in! I would have lost my marbles if it weren’t for Kirst… she knew the venue like the back of her hand, completely understood the style I was going for, and no request was even left unanswered. Wanted to drop you a quick email to say a HUGE thank you for your hard work on Saturday. Everything was absolutely perfect and exceeded all of our expectations. You were so easy to work with, and I appreciate that not once did you take over my vision or mind when we made last minute changes. The ceremony set up was just beautiful and the drinks went down an absolute treat with the guests! We were blown away walking into the reception – that backdrop, especially with the lights was just stunning!!

I just wanted to say a very special THANK YOU for all your hard work and creativity in bringing our dream evening to life! The space just looked AMAZING!!!! We were completely enchanted and delighted with it, and our guests all thought it looked spectacular – in fact, many of them couldn’t believe they were at the Blue Duck!! Two of our guests had actually been there for lunch that day and couldn’t believe how transformed it was when they came back in the evening! You got the vintage look I was after absolutely perfect – right down to the flower arrangements and little knick knacks! I honestly could not have wished for better – it was just magical. I will definitely be emphatically recommending the Blue Duck to everyone I know – as I’m sure will all of our guests.
